Forums Hotel loyalty schemes Marriott Bonvoy Previous promos

    Hi all,

I started staying with Marriott regularly for work in January and since then have registered for two different promos:

    – 1 bonus elite night credit and 1000 bonus points per night (Feb)
    – 5 bonus elite night credits per stay, max of 2 stays (May)

My question is, what other types of promos do Marriott tend to run and can I expect to see? I’ve heard some are targetted, I assume these are to people who don’t stay as often?

    Thanks!

I similarly joined Bonvoy in January. Had the first promo you mention, but not the second.

Currently on a targeted / “exclusively for you” promo of double night credits until 31/08/23.

I’m Lifetime Titanium and get a steady stream of promos/Free Night Awards (1-2/year). But even better than that are the cashbacks on Amex cards – typically £100 off £300 spend or £50 off £250 spend. These seem to turn up twice a year and across our 2 X BAPP and 1 X Amex Bonvoy (+ supplementary cards) we must get the best part of £1,000 per year

There is no ‘lifetime titanium’. Either it’s a typo or you are misguided.

@Bbbetter there is Lifetime Titanium, but you can’t achieve it anymore. Back in 2018, after the Marriott and SPG merger, Marriott granted it to those who had over 750 nights between both programs. They even sent physical metal cards.

Ah ok. Thanks for the clarification. I was going by Rob’s article yesterday. He probably didn’t include it as it’s not offered anymore.
