The detailed advice received from mainly JDB regarding getting telephone calls from BA and were they under contact without an e-ticket 2/3 days ago doesn’t show up
How do I recover these 6/7 posts which on checking several times seem to be missing
I think this is the thread to which you refer

For the avoidance of doubt one needs to distinguish between the contract and an e-ticket. When you book and pay a contract is struck and a “reservation” as defined in EC261 is created. You need some “proof” of that reservation in the form eg of your email booking confirmation. BA sometimes forgets to issue an e-ticket, most commonly after changes to a booking and an airline agent can’t check you in without taking a valid e-ticket coupon, so one always wants to check one has been issued for every sector for every passenger.
The nature of the contract with BA is a strange one as their Conditions of Carriage which, in common with many airlines, mirror the requirements of the Montreal Convention but say very little about what they commit to do. They don’t really say they will fly you from A to be on the date specified in your booking! That all has to be taken as implicit which makes things slightly more complicated…
The CoC don’t refer to issuing a ticket but the BAEC terms do.
