It’s not a great area for fine dining. You’d need to head northeast to Portmarnock and Malahide or south to the city.

Hi thanks but not looking for fine dining but just something decent the evening before we fly.

Shame the hotel restaurant is closed, as the food was pretty good. There is an Italian restaurant called Little Venice just round the corner on Swords Road. I only ate there a few times as I generally ate in the CP, and I haven’t been since 2019 or 2020, but it was pretty good then. Failing that there is a McDonalds at the other end of Northwood Avenue.

Thanks @Lynx shame it’s now only opened for delivery or takeaway at the minute any other suggestions?

The suggestion above to go to Malahide is an excellent one, nice walk by the sea, loads of restaurants and it’s only 15-20 minutes by taxi.

Hi @shilly I was generally more interested in getting the extra IHG points on the F&B, so didn’t venture out often!
However, I would agree with the suggestion of Malahide and also Howth. I know that some of my colleagues ventured out there at times and had some excellent meals, but that was all pre-covid and I don’t have any specific recommendations.

Fish and Chips in Howth or if you want something finer there are a couple of nice seafood restaurants there (or were pre covid)
