I have an avios reward flight booked with AA for later in the year, which I booked via BA site.
American website doesn’t recognise the booking ref so I can’t go on and select seats. I’ve also tried the ticket number but not recognised either.
I did a git of googling and saw someone say if I went into Finnair site, I could use that to add my AA number to booking, then it would be visible once I checked AA site.
That didn’t work. Also tried doing the same on BA.
Can anyone tell me if there’s a way of having my booking ref recognised?
Will I need to call BA?
If you booked via BA then go to select seats on BA.
It will then ask to redirect you to AA where it will also show your AA booking number (different from BA).
