Reward flights to Shanghai

It seems that none have been released at all? Perhaps because because the route may be axed?

I haven’t seen VS advertising PVG for some time, but VS Cargo still lists a near-daily flight (https://www.virginatlanticcargo.com/gb/en/our-network/flight-schedule/lhr-pvg.html) as VS250. It last flew in March ’22, though, and hasn’t flown since.

Chinese tourism restrictions won’t have helped; it might come back, but given the increase of efforts in to the USA, and the withdrawal from HKG due to Russian airspace restrictions, plus the reasonably recent start of success to ISB, I suspect that you might be right.

Curiously revenue flights are bookable on VS metal for the Summer 2023 timetable onwards, just not reward tickets, which breaches their promise for guaranteed reward seats on all flights

I imagine this route will be cancelled. Like HK.
