I’m waiting for the return flights to be released to add them onto my existing outbound booking where I used a 2-4-1. Will these changes affect me being able to book online (using full Avios and paying taxes) and then calling up to get the reservations linked and the Avios refunded? I know I won’t receive a tax refund for booking two one ways, but before they made these changes, it was only around £100 more to book both legs online and have some chance of getting the seats rather than calling up when they’re released, I’m a bit confused now as to how much this will cost me!
