Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere – I had a quick look for couldn’t see anything.
I’m looking at Business Class flights for Canada next year with a new style BA Amex Premium 2-4-1. Prices are coming up as 180,000 + £1,700 for 2 consistently whether Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver.
For January I already have Vancouver in Business that I paid 125,000 + £1,820 for 2 seats using old style 2-4-1.
Tweaking the dates to go off-peak only reduces the price to 160,000 + £1,700 so almost not worth bothering with.
With other flights being listed as Higher Miles + £250 / £350 per person, Canada seems to be disproportionately expensive – to the extent that flying to New York and getting an internal flight to Toronto seems like a cheaper option.
Are these high £££ prices showing up elsewhere (I saw a comment about Barbados I think)?
There are a whole series of articles on the sites front page about the changes to RFS pricing changes
I am aware of all the articles but couldn’t see this point being covered.
One point that I have noted is that the pricing doesn’t mention RFS, whereas if I choose Premium Economy when not using a voucher (as Business not available without the additional availability opening up) it does mention RFS pricing.
Thanks
May be a silly question, but are you sure it’s a new-style voucher and you definitely selected this voucher before searching? Could explain why it’s not offering RFS pricing.
Not a silly question – I have 2 vouchers and checked with both. Also no bus class without the voucher, so this confirms that it is a new style voucher. Thanks
It appears to be a glitch where new RFS pricing is not getting applied. I logged out / tried a different browser and it works again.

New RFS pricing still applies to old style vouchers.
Yes! Pricing on MacBook 180,000 + £700 rather than +£1,690 on Dell.
Bizarre, and somewhat unacceptable!!
…and Dell now giving the RFS prices so I wonder if some sort of browser update has applied in the last few hours (perhaps here, perhaps at BA – who knows, but the price has changed by £990).
Off-peak still 160,000 rather than Peak 180,000. Nice if the dates work but not enough to influence choice of dates too much.
Thanks for the input.
