I sent my documents over with my UID on the 6th July. I had an automated reply but then I received an email from them on the 22nd July to say that they are facing an enexpected work load due to the fantastic interest.
Are there anyone else out there still waiting on a result from around these same dates?

I applied on the day it was first publicised here. Very shortly after, I got the request for documents but have been too busy to respond. I completely forgot about it it in fact, until yesterday I got an email saying my status had been matched.

Same here – so strange that they requested extra documents, I didn’t supply them and then a month+ later the match is confirmed anyway! Not complaining … sometimes procrastination pays 😉
They seem to have a backlog in processing – 10 days turned into 20 days but was eventually approved. I was turned down for the match to LH / Star Alliance though as it was a previous status match. Looks like i’ll have to be content with Gold Sky Team status.
The irony is now the only alliance where I will lack Gold status will be OneWorld – the one I fly the most (where I am only BA Silver :D)
Going to do a couple of runs to try and keep the LH/Star Alliance and SAS/SkyTeam Gold.. who knows, might build some new habits along the way?
