Hi,
So I got my BA PP credit card back in February, and currently only need a further £1000 to receive my 241 voucher. Do I get sent this electronically? Is it just a voucher code?
I understand I have 24 months to use this. What happens if I spent another 10k before Feburary 2024 (which is my 12 month anniversary of having the PP card), I assume I won’t get another 241 voucher? Should I limit my spending on my credit card once I’ve got my first 241 voucher until around February next year?
The voucher will appear in your BAEC account, usually a couple of days after the qualifying Amex transaction clears. You won’t be able to start earning another voucher until your account year starts again.
It depends what your priorities are – if you need to collect more avios to use with the 241, you might want to carry on spending on the BAPP (or apply for the avios Barclaycard). Otherwise look at directing your spending to another points currency. It’s whatever suits your personal circumstances really.
