Just stumbled across this today… https://flyingblue.statusmatch.com/
Accepting status matches from BAEC, Skywards, MileagePlus and others to Flying Blue (Air France / KLM), which is part of SkyTeam so a de-facto match for Flying Club
Am I correct in thinking that KLM Gold would equate to Virgin Gold?
To note, it’s not a free status match – there’s a cost associated, per the terms: https://flyingblue.statusmatch.com/faq/. Most people would consider KLM Gold to be most valuable, I’d assume, at E199.
KLM Gold would give you SkyTeam Elite Plus, which is equivalent to VS Gold, bar some things that you might not get (e.g. Clubhouse access, but forgotten the entry requirements from the top of my head).

Checking the SkyTeam website as a SkyTeam Elite Plus Frequent Flyer you would gain access to the clubhouse (plus a guest) if flying internationally on Aero Mexico, Delta, or Virgin Atlantic.
I think STE+ only gets CH access if in Premium,
not Economy.I don’t even think the STE+ members get access. Per VS (https://flywith.virginatlantic.com/gb/en/upper-class-cabin-and-seats/clubhouse-airport-lounge/london-heathrow-clubhouse.html), you’d get access when travelling on VS or DL in VS Premium (and DL equivalent) as a Flying Blue member. Whilst VS Gold gives you STE+, STE+ != VS Gold.
So, if you took this status match, you’d only get Clubhouse access by my reading by virtue of being Flying Blue *and* travelling Premium.
As a VS Gold, I can access Clubhouse with a guest in any bucket and cabin. That’s the difference.
And, no, VS won’t match Flying Blue to VSFC.

Do you know if “Premium” include Premium economy or just business.
