Suite upgrades – usable on reward nights yet?

We’re potentially back to square one anyway, as IC O2 is trying to insist a “junior suite”, i.e. a large room, counts as a suite. And get this, it would be 4 further room category upgrades to get to a one-bedroom suite (i.e. an actual suite), because of all the subcategory gradings they have introduced.

Annoyingly, I rang them to potentially use a voucher last week for our stay at Intercontinental Cancun next week but told it won’t happen for a while and that members would be emailed in advance of this going live. So, not sure where the attached link has developed from?
156,000 points for 5 nights into a suite (with voucher) would be great 🙂

Currently at Grand Park Royal Luxury Resort for the bulk of our summer holiday before we finish up at IC next week. The family suites are great here with a hot tub on balcony and amazing views. Worth a visit.
