Supplementary card account if already have one

My partner just got her amex supplementary card, how does she link it to her existing amex account? It keeps making her log out.

Providing the same email address was used, she should be able to log into her existing account and activate/add the new one there.

Any difficulties (such as different email address used, title supplied where it wasn’t before, etc) can be sorted by customer services

When you say just if it’s the last couple days I’ve found waiting a few days makes it work.

Also My last card kept doing that even anfter I waited a few days but I kept logging back in with the same details and eventually it stuck.

My one wasn’t able to add the second supp card onto her account which only had one supp card. She had to make a new account to be able to add the supp card – she was still able to use the same email address as the first card.
