I am taking a flight that is at the end of my membership year. The flight leaves on the last day of my membership year, flies overnight, and lands in my next membership year. I need the TPs to nudge me over the line for gold for the last year. Will this work?
Yes. The flight will post as the day it takes off. It may not show for a few days but the important date is the day of the flight. Assume this fight is 8th of whenever.
If you look on the web rather than the app, you’ll see flights have two dates Transaction and Posting. What matters is the transaction date.

Possibly slightly academic but is it the transaction date relative to local time/date of departure not the UK equivalent date/time of departure?
It is based in the scheduled, local time of departure.
