Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club Unable to search (Avios availabilty) for Delhi

  • 354 posts

    Getting an error when searching for Delhi from my account.
    Dropdowns select New Delhi (DEL) and London OR LHR, but always getting an error.
    I’ve tried BGI, AMS and CPT to see if its a general issue, but they work fine- even when no availability on dates.
    Assuming flaky IT again, but seems very odd.

    Also some sort of glitch for a standard return LON DEL Avios search when I tried. However if you have an Amex voucher (either old or new would work), and the seats do show up weirdly.

    Yep, have mentioned this a couple of times (including in today’s chat!).
    Even weirder, if you search KUL-LHR, DEL availability appears in the middle as the “via” airport!

    Glad its not just me.
    The closest I got to it returning a search, was trying to apply a Barclaycard upgrade voucher and it telling me not enough vouchers for the number of passengers (2)
    I thought it could be applied for 2 passengers 1 way (though never tried a dummy booking. Expected it would ask if it should be applied to Inbound or outbound leg, but guess that’s asking too much!)

    Anyway, I was looking on behalf of the in-laws, who have no interest in collecting points, but thought they might be doing us a favour to spend ours!

    Have seen similar with SYD->LHR.
    Search gave me J priced as a stopover flight via SIN, but wouldn’t price it as a single flight through SIN but gave me an F option as direct.

    Usual weird shenanigans from BA.

    While DEL is dead on search most of the times; many other cities also intermittently dis-appears such as DXB.
