Can’t see if this has already been posted but does anyone know if you get charged the new £25 cash element if upgrading to CE or if its still £1?
No matter whether using the voucher or not taxes/charges are the same. So now £12.50 each way.
Yeah, that’s what I thought. I suppose the difference in fees still remains £49 between the £25 return fees and the “best value” £74 return fees.
You do save a few thousand avios on the longer routes too, but it’s marginal as to whether or not you’re better off taking the 7k avios if you don’t think you can use it for long haul
