    Hi, I’m new to this.
Can the companion voucher be used to upgrade 2 people one way?
    Thanks

Yes it can. Providing there’s 2x availability in the cabin you want to upgrade to

Also – if upgrading to UC you don’t get stung for the extra chunk of points that they charge if you use it as a companion voucher!

Have a look at Rob’s article on here about the Virgin voucher as it does take a bit of getting your head around.

I have really tried to understand the Virgin companion voucher but my brain isn’t getting it. I have a voucher expiring 13 Dec and I have 98k points. The number of points isn’t likely to increase.
I was thinking of using the points for a cruise and forgetting the voucher but the new cruise offers are too many points.
So in order to use the voucher, do I need to pay cash for a PE flight and then use the voucher to upgrade? What is my lowest cash cost way to use it ?

I’m hoping some kind soul will come to my aid and talk me through it.

Hi @Annie, it’s all in this article, but basically you can use the voucher on cash or points bookings. You need to call, and you’ll also need to fly the outbound by the expiry date (VS agents have been known to be flexible but you can’t rely on it!)
