Hurrah. A bit of cheer up after the Curve stinker.

You can transfer miles via the Virgin Red app, £10 no matter how many points, upto 2,000,000!

Also new scheme for gifting (as in buying them for someone else), points and buying them for yourself.

With the second 30k credit card SUB in 3 months, the 2k refer a friend bonus repeated, and now points transfers looks like Virgin is going on the offensive against BC and Amex. Wonder if there will be a reaction?

If anyone struggles to find the link in Virgin Red it’s under the ‘Earn’ tab. I’ve just wasted 3 hours trying to find it! duh.

Great find! Took literally 2 mins to move small amount of points from partners to my account. Only 10k. Wonder if you moved 100k be as quick.

Yes good news, means I don’t have to pay for a biz fare to get more tier points to become silver to pool points with the family. Are there any downsides to this way of pooling points into one account in the small print?

No downside UNLESS you want to earn 2 credit card vouchers per year, one per person (which we don’t, which is why I’ve pinched my wife’s 1.2m!).

thanks, could you please elaborate 2 credit card vouchers? I have accumulated one but thought it was one per year per cc ? hence getting wife to earn one on her credit card.
But pooling the points the children earn’t on their flights with us recently makes sense which was why I was aiming for Silver, but this looks a bit easier to do quickly if needed.
Notice the Delight has got less rewarding also, no 50% bonus miles and no free immediate seat assignment.. cutbacks!

Yes, one per year so you’d need your wife to have her own card if you wanted two (which I don’t).
