I completed the online forms to apply for a status match for Volare (ITA airlines), as per the offer that started 3 weeks ago and runs to 19 August.
Since doing it, I’ve heard nothing. There appears to be no way to contact them, and my ITA app proudly shows I am Club Smart (ie lowest). Even worse, the link to status match no longer appears in my personal login area – nor are there any useful links.
Any ideas how to check and/or chase?

I did mine 11 days ago and am in the same boat but haven’t chased yet.I’ve had exactly the same experience.
I couldn’t find any means of contacting them so in the end I applied again earlier this week (using a different email address) and received a positive response to the first application approx 24 hours later.
May well just have been coincidence – who knows…@LouiseL – yes, I got exactly the same email. However, it’s been sent to me so the sender appears to be my email address – meaning that there is no way to actually reply to the email!!
I’ve heard zero since that email.

The new status and related digital card will be awarded and recognized in ITA Airways systems, upon verification and if successful, within 60 days from the date of the request.you can check the status of the request on Volare . On the left hand under my profile>do you need help? Click on All Support Requests for current status

Same here. I suspect they’re just overwhelmed with applications and are processing them in the order received. The 60 day period would suggest we needn’t be worried after only a couple of weeks.
Same here, I have a KLM flight on Wednesday this would be useful for but it doesn’t look likely to be approved on time

Probably a silly question 🙂 but does the status end date reflect the 60 day wait period, as in, it pushes the status end date sometime into the future, or is it the same status end date for everyone irrespective of approval date?
My understanding is that any status received during the promotion will remain valid until the end of 2025. I’m happy to be corrected if this is incorrect.
I applied around the time of the “great IT outage” so worried my application was lost. Checked the Volare app this morning and the new status shows as at yesterday – no welcome email, however.
I received a reply on my request. Pretty sure I uploaded everything correctly. Anyone else receive similar?

How much time passed between applying and getting that rejection e-mail through?
Reapply the closing date for applications is tomorrow I belive. I have heard of people having initial application declined but accepted on 2nd application

I applied the first week it was published on HfP, and received info yesterday. A few weeks had passed.
No email to confirm though status of my application has refreshed to status match accepted.
Just a postscript to my initial message above – I got an email on Friday last week (without any other warning) welcoming me to “The ITA Airways Volare Club Premium!”
Card has an expiry of Jan 2026.. .so I assume that this is the status match of my BA Silver status? No other communications received, as far as I can tell….
I applied on the 28th July and still nothing, I’ll keep waiting!

I received an automated response today (applied on 24th July) telling me my request was denied. Only once I had logged in and checked on the status of my request does it show that the ‘expiry of my status wasnt visible’
It was.
Anyway – I dont see any way to get in touch with them now with an(other) screenshot of my BA status.
Does anyone have a contact email? Or a way to create a new request? I tried to email statusmatch@itaspa.com <statusmatch@itaspa.com> but got an automated response telling me the mailbox is no longer monitored and to submit a request…No option in account to submit anther request either.

Reports of arbitrary rejection when the supposedly missing information was available might suggest they’re picking and choosing who the accept based on their anticipated revenue generation potential? Just a thought. I’m not sure how they’d be able to tell however without seeing your travel history. Could be related to the status you hold or held, how long ago it expired and so on?

Data point: Re-checked today and ITA Volare account now showing as Club Premium with expiry 01/26.
10000 qualifying points were also added as part of status match to BA Silver.
