Same with the docs bit, pain in the bum, tried twice, thought it might have been because I used sifari, not sure but never worked

I got an email today confirming my Premium status. It took a full 28 days but it shows that there’s no need to lose hope if you haven’t heard yet.

Same here and I waited approximately the same amount of time. Looking forward to getting stuck into my new Sky Team status!

Yes, it is nice to have status on all 3 (OneWorld/SkyTeam/SkyAlliance) through status matches this year, at least until next month when SAS moves. I also need to try and use the benefits until I need to focus on my 25-26 BA tier points again in April.

There’s some pretty cheap SAS flights on at the moment, they have a special on the go. Stockholm was on my to-see list so as part of the challenge to extend status I did a quick trip this last week and did a tour of 4 *A lounges in T2 (all were great except the LH Senator lounge, whcih was packed). And then a number of SAS Gold lounges on the way back via CPH, plus the Amex lounge in ARN, lovely!

    Nice!

I’ve just discovered that Sky Team from London flying within Europe effectively means just AF-KLM and their prices don’t look remotely attractive scanning the next 3 months. No shortage of departures of course and you can pretty much fly everywhere, but the lounge at T4 is a Plaza Premium. Oh well, roll on the change to *A. I’m glad the status match is in the bag, at least it provides extra options.
