Voucher redemption query

Going to use two Barclaycard vouchers for a trip to Vancouver. We will be flying on to Calgary. Can I use the vouchers for the main leg and also book the onward Calgary flight with BA so luggage is ticketed through?

No – the voucher can only be used on BA flights, presumably the connecting flight would be on another airline.

Yes, onward is Westjet. I don’t want to use the voucher for this element, just to include it in the booking to get through ticketing. Happy to pay for that part.

You cannot do this.

It is impossible to have a points and a cash flight on the same ticket.

In any event you still need to collect your bags to clear Canadian customs at your port of entry.
