Where and when does the companion voucher appear?

I have a BAPP card and I wondered where and when the companion voucher is registered?

I want to know the ‘cut off’ point from which I can cancel the card (and get a pro-rata refund) but still keep the voucher.

Does the voucher get posted at the same time your Avios are transferred to the BAEC account?

Any help appreciated.

Another question – does the voucher register instantly after £10,000 spend is tracked on the AMEX tracker?

For reference, my last statement date was 10 March. My Avios transfer ‘AMEX NON BA SPEND’ was 5 March 2023.

The voucher will post to your BAEC account within a few days of hitting the £10k, independently of your monthly Avios transfer.
