From avios-100k-t-and-c.pdf:
When you’ll receive the Avios Bonus
You will receive the Avios Bonus within two months from the date you meet the eligibility criteria. It’s been 2 months since the promotion started so I think some of us should start receiving the 100k Avios soon. Can anyone actually confirm they received it?
I’m watching this closely because I believe I was eligible from 15th October (so still one more week to wait) but I never received the confirmation email.
Should be 4 months, not 2.
https://www.headforpoints.com/2022/11/28/last-chance-100000-avios-barclays-premier-barclaycard/As you have to hold both accounts for four months it isn’t likely they would be received now. The terms say they will be credited within two months of the end of your individual end date specified in the eligibility email. So maybe April/May at the latest.
Makes sense but the T&C’s is not written well. I read this sentence, hence judged the date of being eligible as when I had both products opened.
You will be eligible for the Avios Bonus when you hold a Barclaycard Avios Plus card and Barclays Avios Rewards, provided that you open or join one or both of those products during the Qualifying Period.
Second problem, I haven’t received a confirmation email, despite meeting all stated eligibility criteria.

It’s only unclear if you don’t read the next paragraph and the large section at the bottom of the same page.
Probably just me but the timing of “when you are eligible” is defined in the first sentence. Subsequent sentences are qualifying or disqualifying criteria.
I think it should say this to avoid any doubt about your eligibility date: “You are eligible for the Avios Bonus four months after you have held both…”
Anyway, I get it’s 4+2 months now.
Worth noting that HfP have been advised (as commented on threads here by Rob) that there is also a ‘hidden’ (not in the T&C’s) eligibility criterion that you must also perform a full CASS switch if your account is new to Barclays.

I thought that’s how you get the 25k points for, on top of the 100k, aw well, its better than nothing lol

I strongly suspect this is incorrect or Barclays could have a fight on their hands. I’ve followed the T&C’s to the letter, and as an existing Barclays current account holder – had no intention of initiating a full CASS switch.
I received 2,500 Avios bonus as an ‘existing’ customer upgrading to Premier, and a swift email confirming eligibility for the 100k if I hold Premier and Avios+ for 4 months.
If they later renege on the T&C’s and state a switch was required, hell hath no fury.

I’d suggest that this is incorrect, and if true – Barclays will have a fight on their hands.
I’ve followed the T&C’s to the letter. As an existing Barclays current account holder, I upgraded to Premier and received a 2,500 bonus for doing so (rather than 25,000). I did not initiate a switch and have no plans to do so. I have received an email confirming eligibility for the 100k if I continue to hold Premier + Avios+ for 4 months, so if Barclays renege on this then hell hath no fury.
Ignore duplicate post, not sure what happened there as received an error when posting the first one. Admin please feel free to delete one.
Avios rewards activated on 21-Nov on a new premier account and held the avios plus cc since 31-Oct
No 100k email. Should one be worried?

I would call and register a complaint. I’ve had many issues with Barclays/Barclaycard/Avios and have an ongoing complaint. The complaint handler is trying to get the Avios promotions team to acknowledge that I have done everything required to become eligible for the 100,000 bonus but their system does not recognise that I hold both products, despite me seeing both in the app. Out of interest have you received your £5 monthly reward for holding both accounts yet? If not, it might suggest that the system also thinks you don’t hold both products, hence no 100,000 avios email. Better to complain now than hope for the Avios in a few months time.
No, but agree you should have received the email I’d have thought. This is what that email says:
“With your Barclaycard Avios Plus credit card and Barclays Avios Rewards, you have everything you need to collect your 100,000 Avios bonus.
To qualify for it, simply keep them open until at least 28 February 2023.
We’ll then get in touch to let you know you’ve qualified for the Avios bonus and that it’s been paid into your British Airways Executive Club account”That was start of Nov, so 4 months basically, from opening to receipt, is when they’re saying I’ll trigger the eligibility criteria, and it’ll drop sometime after that.
I’ve had the 25k from the credit card, that dropped as soon as I hit the £3k spend as you’d expect (well, it showed in the app, it credited to BAEC on the 2nd of the next month).

I am going to stick my neck out and say they have somehow managed to create two profiles and they have not linked that you have both.
To merge the profiles I was required to go into branch to do another KYC. My worry for you will be whether you will then need to fight to get the bonus as the offer has now ended (the email I received after the KYC said I would receive the bonus 4 months from the date of the email despite having both accounts 6 weeks prior…
I’ve had the same issue. They have created 2 profiles, barclaycard with name Mr X Surname and current account with First name/ 2 x middle names/ Surname. Bit frustrating but they have now sent a request to combine all onto one profile. Given both were applied for during the offer period, I’ll be raging if they try and prevent me receiving the 100k points.
Guys – as expected, Barclays are saying I’m ineligible for the points as they created seperate accounts for my barclays reward account and barclaycard avios plus card. what a farce. will obviously be complaining and escalating. any assistance from someone if you have experienced similar welcomed!

I’m also in a similar situation, chat is completely useless and gives answers not related to the question. Pls provide updates to your experience, I will need to go into branch to do one more update of my account to merge them properly. I am also not getting the £5 refund cause my accounts are not merged properly.
Hopefully Rob and Rhys have read this chat and can pass the issue to Barclays.
The customer service guys on the app live chat are really poor. I’ve been messaging barclays on their UK help twitter page and so much more helpful in how i go about resolving – likely a branch visit with id to ensure details on both barclaycard and barclays are exactly the same, merge account and then go about getting the 100k points. They’re fairly open and honest that it’s their issue and not mine, and will v likely be resolved.
I got an email confirming saying I would receive it by the 4th month.
I’m not getting the £5 credit per month into my bank account, but did receive the confirmation email that I’m eligible for the 100k Avios.
How is it best to explain on the in-app chat? He’s asking what offer I’m referring to regarding the £5 credit, and of course it’s no longer showing any details of the offer on the Barclays website. I can’t really link him to the head for points article!!
It’s the Dual Rewards offer you are asking for to get the £5/month off.

Did you get anywhere with this? I’m in the same boat.
