I guess…as I’m turning a profit on the Avios card every month…the Premier account is approximately free (£12pm cost – £5 refund for having both products, and 1500 Avios per month worth £10) and there’s another cabin upgrade voucher in a few months if I keep it.
Me too – just received the text.
My account was opened 19th Nov.After two fairly lengthy visits to a Barclays branch today to get my two profiles merged, I also got the 100k text message others have mentioned 😁. Just a coincidence that the text appeared on the same day I think!

I sent up the applied for the account on the 3rd of Nov but needed in branch verification and that wasn’t done until the 30th of Nov.
I hope the 100k is in on or before the 30th of April!SMS received! Joined mid Nov ’22.

If you read the earlier pages of this thread lots of DP of people getting their 100k, the difference is Barclays did not text them a date in advance. People just saw the amount when they logged into their BA accounts. Therefore we have no data points of what ‘by the end of the month’ really means. We know from the monthly avois drop, they don’t do weekends. Last week when they texted some people saying there was a delay and will give and update by the end of the week, this text came out on Friday. Based on these experiences we can guess they will aim the latest for the last working day of the month.
I submitted a formal complaint about this two weeks ago. Received letter of confirmation about complaint five days ago .
Today received a text from Barclays i will receive 100000 avios before end of April . Seems to be within the terms of the offer. Will update when receivedAlso just got the “100k on its way by end of April” SMS.

No, you need to have the Avios+ card to get the £5 Dual Reward benefit – “You’ll be eligible for the Dual Reward when you hold a Barclaycard Avios Plus card with us and you’ve also joined Barclays Avios Rewards.“

There was 25k for opening the bank account, there is a question out there as to whether switching was a requirement. I got mine on the monthly drop AFTER 4 months of having the account.

looking through my avios account I don’t see any 25k avios bonus for opening the premier account in Nov 22
@namster depending on when you opened your account in November, they may not come until next month; they get awarded in the fifth month after switching on Avios Rewards but receiving them depends on the monthly timing. You should be able to see if they are on their way under the ‘rewards’ section of your Avios activity on the app where e.g. the 1500 monthly Avios show.
Got the text message for end of April. Opened account late-mid November. Can’t wait to close the account, sorry Barclays, your app sucks

Logged into my account today. Up popped a banner announcing I’d get 36k Avios for a referral from my Platinum card instead of the usual 18k (at least I think they were the numbers). Clicked on the link which showed I could only refer from my BAPP…. I wish I had taken a screenshot. So still no ability to refer from the Platinum or AERRC cards for me.

I was just wondering what had happened to my post earlier on the “Your Account is temporarily unable to access the Referral Programme” thread. Looks like I found it…. doh. Guess that is what happens when you are in a hurry. Sorry, folks.
To get back on topic, I am another of those who never got an email confirming I was eligible for the 100K Barclays Avios but I did get the same text lots of other people got the other day. I was dreading the fight to get my Avios but hopefully now I won’t need to have one.
Despite the BA Exec Club not sending me a push notification, I can confirm I received the 100,000 Avios Points into my account today, although dated the 18th they were not visible until now.
But still, good news all round 🙂
