The title sort of asks the question. I have noticed that Virgin appear to have “pulled” all the Wednesday flights from MAN to MCO from mid April 2023 until 1st Nov 2023.
The return leg MCO to MAN also appears to have had numerous Tuesday flights “pulled”
Is this just a scheduling thing or is there more behind this?
I ask as I have a reward flight booked on Wednesday 1st November 2023, should I change it to an alternate date?
Cheers
If you ask to change then it’ll be a voluntary change and you’ll have to pay the change fee and for there to be points availability on your new flight.
If they cancel you’ll be able to move for free
In the before times VS would swap out a plane between MAN and LGW at MCO so it could have its weekly maintenance.
So for a week the same plane would fly MAN-MCO-MAN until the last day when it returned to LGW and an arriving plane ex LGW would return to MAN for a week.
So it could be something similar. Is there a Wed MCO-MAN?
There was a MAN to MCO on every Wednesday, some Wednesdays then started to disappear, until virtually all had gone. I have just checked again and they have started to appear back but with a different aircraft, hence I may have the answer to my own question……It appears that the original A330 is being changed out to an A350-1000. Am I right or am I clutching at straws?
