Bristol – what to see and do?

Clifton. That’s it really :))

Clifton suspension bridge, Clifton Observatory, Bristol Zoo (small but great!), SS Great Britain the Harbour side and all that. There is a really nice resturant on an old boat there too, indoor and outdoor seating. Link: https://www.underthestarsbar.co.uk.

Also Concorde at Aerospace Bristol!!!

It’s just how it goes. Every trip to Bristol ends with a trip round IKEA on the way back out up the M32.

The Lido is heated 🙂 It’s quite hard to book a swim spot, or at least it was in the summer, when I failed to secure one.

The Jamaican place that Michel and Fred went to is great. The food is amazing and the owner/chef is just as welcoming as he was on the show.

If it’s not too chilly, a sail on The Matthew is great fun. M Shed is worth a wander. If you like cider, there’s a great cider boat-pub called The Apple.

This is pretty much spot on. I would say avoid Clifton actually. The real Bristol is definitely not there.
