Lufthansa’s 20% bonus for buying Miles & More miles returns

Back in March, Lufthansa ran a 20% bonus promotion for buying Miles & More miles.  This was part of the promotional activity to celebrate 20 years of the programme.

Now, Lufthansa’s high taxes and charges – especially for European flights – mean that Miles & More is not the greatest scheme out there.  However, if you already have some miles and want to reach a specific target, then this is a decent deal.

The 20% bonus applies to even the smallest purchase of miles which is a positive step that some other airlines (British Airways included) could learn from.
