Two interesting promotions for Hilton Group‘s luxury brands, Conrad and Waldorf-Astoria, have popped up.

These were targeted at people who were originally emailed with details, but it appears that anyone can register for them.  Perhaps Hilton has been taking lessons from IHG ….!

The first offer is for 2,000 bonus Hilton HHonors points for every NIGHT at a Conrad or Waldorf-Astoria hotel during 2014.

The registration page is here.  Even reward nights may trigger this bonus (note that it will post separately, 6-8 weeks after your stay) as they are now treated as qualifying stays.

The second offer is for bonus points on your next three stays at Conrad or Waldorf-Astoria hotels during 2014.

Your first stay will trigger 2,000 bonus points, your second 3,000 and your third 5,000.

The registration page for this offer is here.

As these codes are valid for all of 2014, I would recommend registering for them now even if you have no Conrad (the New York hotel is pictured above) or Waldorf-Astoria stays planned – you will certainly not remember this deal in the Autumn if one pops up unexpectedly!

I would imagine that you are able to receive bonus points for both promotions at the same time.

As usual, do not call Hilton if you do not receive the bonus unless you did receive an emailed invitation directly ….

How to earn Hilton Honors points and status from UK credit cards

How to earn Hilton Honors points and status from UK credit cards (March 2025)

There are various ways of earning Hilton Honors points from UK credit and debit cards.  Many cards also have generous sign-up bonuses.

There are two dedicated Hilton Honors debit cards. These are especially attractive when spending abroad due to the 0% or 0.5% FX fee, depending on card.

You also receive FREE Hilton Honors status for as long as you hold the debit cards – Gold status with the Plus card and Silver status with the basic card. This is a great reason to apply even if you rarely use it.

We reviewed the Hilton Honors Plus Debit Card here and the Hilton Honors Debit Card here.

You can apply for either card here.

There is another way of getting Hilton Honors status, and earning Hilton Honors points, from a payment card.

Holders of The Platinum Card from American Express receive FREE Hilton Honors Gold status for as long as they hold the card.  It also comes with Marriott Bonvoy Gold, Radisson Rewards Premium and MeliaRewards Gold status.

We reviewed American Express Platinum in detail here and you can apply here.

Just checked out of a Conrad last week but only just registered for this offer. Any idea if I am likely to get the bonus points if the stay was within the promotional period but before registering online?

  • Clive says:

That’s great as I have an upcoming stay at the Astoria in Naples so have just registered for both. Thanks

  • Volker says:

The T&Cs state: “Offer valid for stays booked and completed between January 23, 2014, and December 31, 2014.”

I made a cash&points redemption booking for the Waldorf Berlin a few days before the 23rd January, for a stay later this year. Wonder if that will count…

  • tim says:

    Thanks. Knowledgeable as ever.

Now what is a Waldorf salad…..

  • Russell Evans says:

Just stayed 2 free nights in Waldorf Rome Cavalieri courtesy of mine and OH HHonors Credit cards. Can confirm, having registered for this offer on Rob’s recommendation, this triggered 3,491 & 4,491 points to our accounts. We made no additional spends at the hotel other than €6 each for the city tax. A bonus on reward stays, very generous 😉
