The late Summer / early Autumn promotion from Hilton HHonors will run from 1st August to 31st October.  It is another outing for ‘Triple Your Trip‘ which regular readers may remember from Autumn 2013.

Once registered, you will receive double Hilton HHonors points per Monday to Thursday night you stay, and triple points for every Friday to Sunday night. In the Middle East, the weekend is treated as Thursday – Saturday.

Hilton

There is no limit to the number of bonus points you can earn.

There is a list of non-participating hotels which in theory will be here on the Hilton website – although, at the time of writing, the list has not been loaded.  Sometimes these lists can be very long so do not make any bookings on the strength of this offer until you have seen it.

I was caught out myself a few years ago when I made a Hilton booking purely to qualify for a promo, only to find it was the only hotel in the whole of the UK not to be taking part.

Hilton points are not as valuable as they used to be following the 2013 devaluation.  That said, you would be foolish not to register for this promotion if you have any Hilton stays in the pipeline.

Stays must be between 1 August and 31 October.  Registration is required here.

List of non-participating hotels is now up…..its virtually all the London ones!!!

    • Jenni says:

It says ‘coming soon’ when I try?

      • Rob says:

… which is what I got as well.

        • Alan says:

There seems to be a caching issue as it is showing up at some points. Loyaltylobby.com captured the list and it’s certainly extensive – 1/3 of properties overall, although vast number are in the US. Pleased to see my normal choice in London isn’t on the list!

          • tony says:

I wonder if Hilton have realised how pathetic this looks so have taken the list down as they try to think about a solution? It’s certainly a lucrative deal for the guest (but presumably expensive for the hotel) – has just made my five night, two room stay at the Sa Torre Hilton rather more interesting!

  • Paul says:

Big problem with this. 1/3 rd of all hilton type properties have chosen not to take part. That’s over 1300 hotels worldwide. I have two bookings in coming weeks and only one taking part .

Need to be careful with this promotion.

  • Scott says:

Good to see, so far, that the properties I have for Washington DC aren’t on the “not included” list.

    • Jenni says:

Odd that Hilton London Olympia is opted out, but Kensington hasn’t?

I know its not on the list, but the Doubletree Islington isn’t joining the Hilton portfolio (currently a Jury’s Inn) until 27th August, is it likely to be excluded on that basis? I might play it safe and book the Kensington Hilton for an early September stay.

      • Rob says:

Ironically it was the Kensington Hilton I was referring to in the post when I said I once stayed at the only UK Hilton to have opted out of a specific promotion!

    • Tom says:

Hoorah..none of my 4 upcoming stays are at hotels that are excluded! 🙂

  • Elena says:

So basically all the hotels I wanted in London are out. What is the point of this promotion when so many properties decided not to participate?

    • nerd. says:

Got the same issue – both properties in Leeds have opted out. Gutted. Wonder what the Marriott will be doing…

  • Daftboy says:

Does anyone know if this promotion is likely to work in conjunction with the Walforf Astoria/Conrad promotion flagged yesterday by Raffles. No harm if it can’t be stacked, but I would hate for the two to cancel each other out with a 5 night Conrad stay coming up…

    • Rob says:

They will definitely stack. I got double points for my Conrad stay (on my incidentals) from the current promotion PLUS the two Conrad bonuses.

  • dwadda says:

Does this apply to bookings I’ve already made? Or do I have to cancel and rebook?

  • Brian says:

I got an email offering me 500 bonus HH points per stay on account of having the Platinum Visa card. I guess this applies to everyone with the card…
