Hilton launches a flash sale for weekend stays

Hilton has launched a seven day ‘flash sale’ which runs until midnight on Sunday.

It is offering special deals at 250 hotels across Europe (including the UK), Middle East and Africa, but only at weekends.  Many rooms are discounted by 33%.

The rates are valid for stays until July 17th.

As usual with Hilton sales, you need to take the ‘33% discount’ with a pinch of salt.  This is based on the discount from ‘Best Available Rate’ for the same day.  However, these sale rates require pre-payment and are non-refundable.  A ‘Best Available Rate’ room is cancellable without charge.

    As usual with Hilton sales, their definition of “weekend” is very generous. All days ending in “y” seem to be included.

    Tuesday 31st March, Brighton Metropole – £50. That’ll do for me..

      Yes, at the other end of the UK Hilton Coylumbridge up in Aviemore is showing as DBB for £59 for a double room.

      Also all days of the week ending in a Y.

    I never understand Hilton and their various promotions with regards to the dates permitted. Properties are nearly always available outside of the stated dates. As an example, I always wait for these sales to book ahead for a weekend in London in December for Christmas shopping and visiting friends when I’m back in the UK. There is good availability in this Flash Sale for weekends this December at the various London properties.

    Rob, you’ve stayed at the Hilton Munich City before. If I book the flash sale room only as a Gold card holder, and have my ‘my way’ preferences correctly set, I should get breakfast thrown in shouldn’t I? I know its for 2 guests only, but I can’t imagine them quibbling about also providing it for my 4 year old too.

      Definitely, it is treated as a normal stay. I got brekky and I was on a hotels.com booking …. You won’t have a problem with the child either in my experience. We have never been charged, anywhere, for our kids in a hotel where the adults ate free.

        Have a flexible booking there for 2 nights in April which we are now firm on, so I’m going to change it the flash sale rate, which I am pleased to see come up for a Sun/Mon booking.

    Don’t forget the (UK) Public Sector discount code PR11PN which often gets a bigger discount. I’ve just price-checked the Hilton Canary Wharf booked a couple of days ago for this Friday night & still cheaper, plus it automatically includes breakfast.
