Bookable from 2pm-ish: new list of 5,000 point per night IHG PointBreaks, inc Heathrow

Just a reminder that, as I originally wrote on Saturday, the latest batch of IHG Rewards Club (the Holiday Inn, HI Express, Crowne Plaza, InterContinental etc group) PointBreaks redemptions will be open for booking this afternoon.  It is usually about 2pm.

These rooms are a fantastic deal.

All of the 160 hotels below will be available for just 5,000 IHG Rewards Club points per night from this afternoon, saving up 30,000 points per redemption in some cases.

PointBreaks availability is very limited so book ASAP if you are interested, as soon as bookings open up on Monday. Bookings are refundable as with a standard reward reservation so there is nothing to lose.  IHG works on US time so I would not expect the offer to be available until mid-afternoon today in the UK.

You can book via the IHG PointBreaks page here or via the standard booking page here.  If the PointBreaks page has not yet been updated, it does not necessarily mean that the special deals below will not already be bookable – do a search on the hotel you want to check.

You will be able to book these hotels for dates up to October 31st.

Under the new PointBreaks rule, you allowed a maximum of two bookings per individual hotel. Each booking can be for as many nights as you want.

Remember that if you attempt to amend your booking later by dropping a night or two the whole booking will reprice at the full rate.

Looking at the European properties, the highlights would be:

Holiday Inn Terminal 5 at Heathrow (shuttle bus required, it is not at Terminal 5)

Holiday Inn Express Hamburg City Centre, purely because I like Hamburg!

Holiday Inn Express Rotterdam Central Station, because whether of not you like Rotterdam – and the museums are good – you are plugged into the cheap and quick Dutch rail network for trips to The Hague, Amsterdam etc

Holiday Inn Express Lisbon – Oeiras, because it is a good Winter destination spot.  The hotel is on a business park but claims to be walkable to a station and, anyway, a car is handy anyway for visiting Sintra, Cascais, Estoril etc.
