UPDATE – APRIL 2024:  This article is now out of date, but don’t worry.  We produce a monthly summary of the top hotel bonus point offers – please click HERE or use the ‘Hotel Offers’ menu above.

Our comprehensive review of the Accor Live Limitless scheme is here.

Le Club AccorHotels, the loyalty programme for Novotel, Ibis, Sofitel, Mercure etc, has launched an online quiz to teach you more about the programme.

The great news is that you will receive 1,050 to 1,100 Le Club AccorHotels points for doing it!  The points post instantly.

You can find it here.

The quiz is called ‘Rewards Quest’.  Whilst I call it a quiz, the number of points you earn is not dependent on how you answer the questions.  Get them right or get them wrong, you will still get the points.

The questions are slightly different if you do not have status in Le Club.  I was only able to earn 1,050 points as a Platinum member whilst a base level member should be able to receive the full 1,100.

If your account is set up to automatically convert points to miles, you will presumably receive these as miles instead.  If not, you will need to earn a few more before you can do anything with them.

The minimum conversion to Avios points is 3,000 points.  You should always transfer Accor points into Iberia and not British Airways because the conversion rate is 1:1 compared with 2:1.

The minimum conversion into an Accor hotel discount is 2,000 points which gets you €40.

At certain times in the past it has been possible to convert points to miles irrespective of your balance.  I don’t think you can do that at the moment but the option may come back.  It is worth claiming your free points just in case.

Note:  I had trouble getting the quiz to work on my PC, both in Chrome and in Internet Explorer.  It worked fine on my iPad.  Your experience may differ.

You can log-in and play “Rewards Quest” here.  It will run until 14th February.

O/t Accorhotels, I’ll stick it here so that it gets noticed + on the Accorhotels thread

I managed to convert 1100 over to Iberia Avios yesterday, using Chrome as my browser & Andrew H’s link on
https://headforpoints.com/2015/12/12/1050-free-le-club-accorhotels-points-rewards-quest/ – the last one, ie iberiaplus aytomatic burn.

‘Your points have been converted to Air Miles
Following your request dated December 15, 2015, from now on your Le Club Accorhotels points will be automatically transferred to your Iberia account, after each stay.’

Also worked for my wife’s new a/c, so thanks Andrew H & Raffles for the free 4400 Avios 🙂

  • Nick says:

Thanks Andrew H. The Iberia plus link worked for me. The first link didn’t but strangely did for you ?! Received an email straight away without the usual min 3000 miles and they will be converted etc. Looking promising checked again email saying points converted to chosen partner. Received email overnight saying points sent. Checked Accor account this morning and it’s now zero !

Checked Iberia plus account still no sign of avios, I wonder how long the next stage takes to get to the Iberia account?

I’m sure I read some where it takes a few days?

Another example of this brilliant site and the sharing of knowledge!

Can’t seem to get my 50 points for this – have clicked on it various times – I’m stuck with just 1050 points – even though the t&c seem to suggest I should be able to do this one:

    No. 12
Read the “Booking with points” page
Read the page presenting “Booking with points”
    50
    Silver
    Gold
    Platinum

  • barafear799 says:

got no.8 and no.11 is only open to Classic Card holders – I am platinum.
I’m sure I had a message stating my “status” had an expiry date of 31/12/15 – this seems to have disappeared – are there two dates (one for points expiration and one for status)?
Hope I am still platinum going into 2016 – would hate to miss out on my privileges (even though I can’t afford Sofitel so I can’t really max out my privileges!!)

    • harry says:

Then it’s no 11 you’re missing & not much you can do about it

      Has anybody got no 12?

  • TimS says:

I managed to accomplish 12 missions and earn a total of 1350 points in the end!

I started off as Blue and completed 10 missions, earning 1100 points earlier in the week but those points took me in through the threshold for silver, changing the available missions slightly & giving me a further 2 to achieve and earning me a further 250 points!

    • TimS says:

By the way, the status change allowed me to re-take the “member advantages” quiz and earn the 150 points for that mission twice.

I still haven’t completed mission 12 yet. I can’t see how to earn the last 50 points.

  • rams1981 says:

does it take a while to actually hit the Iberia account?

  • Graham says:

Does anyone know if the email address registered to the Le Club Accor account needs to match that of the Iberia Plus account for the transfer to go through?

  • Nick says:

Slightly OT – Anyone ever received accor points from a europcar hire? Im on the verge of giving up its a joke
