Your Black Friday deals special – our pick of the hotel offers

Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission.  See here for all partner links.

Black Friday is here again.  With an overwhelming amount of travel-related Black Friday deals, we’ve decided to put all the exciting ones – or at least the ones we were told about – together to save you time whilst also saving money.

Over at Shopper Points, we cover some general Amazon deals.  If you are buying anything at Amazon today, we’re always grateful if you start your shop by clicking on our Amazon link here as we receive a small commission and it helps keep the site ticking over – thank you.

This article focuses on hotel deals with a second article on other travel related ‘stuff’.  A third article covers the British Airways deals and a very good Avis car rental deal worth 5,000 Avios.

Laterooms.com

Laterooms.com is doing a Purple Friday again instead of Black Friday. As we couldn’t find any other purple deals, they are allowed to appear as the first offer on our Black Friday list.

The deal is: get up to 50% off hotel stays when booking via this link today.

T&Cs on when to travel are shown on the individual booking pages.

Expedia

Expedia is running a very simple deal (only live from 9am).  You will save £40 on a £150+ hotel booking using the code UKHOLIDAY40.  This is for stays before 31st March 2018.

If you are booking a flight + hotel package, you will receive a discount we can’t disclose in advance on a package of £800+.

You can find full details – including the codes – on the special Expedia Black Friday page here from 9am.  Remember that hotels booked via Expedia will generally not qualify for hotel loyalty points or any status benefits you have.

easyHotel

Whilst it isn’t normally a chain we focus on at Head for Points, easyHotel is offering 3,000 rooms in various city centres from £9.99. Rooms must be booked by 4th December for stays between 1st December 2017 and 28th February 2018.

The booking page is here.

Melia Hotels International

Melia Hotels International is offering up to 50% off stays this Black Friday.

That’s up to 30% off for all customers and an additional up to 20% off for Melia Rewards members.

You need to book by tomorrow and travel before 31st December 2018.

Melia Hotels International’s homepage is here.

Hotels.com

Hotels.com is giving you up to 60% off rooms in Europe. You need to book between  24th and 26th November for travel between 24th November 2017 and 31st March 2018. The deals can be found on this page of the Hotels.com website.

You can get an additional 11% off if you book today using the code BF11.  Be careful, though, as you won’t be earning Hotels.com Rewards free night credit when using the code!

Starwood

We don’t have much nformation about Starwood’s Black Friday offer, but what we do know is that you can book hotel rooms worldwide from $89.

The booking page is here.

Millennium Hotels

Millennium is giving you 25% off all Millennium hotels worldwide for stays before 1st April 2018 if you book this Black Friday weekend.  As a My Millennium member you can even get an additional 5% off. The sale ends on (Cyber) Monday.

And more ….

There is bound to be more out there which we were not sent.  Remember that both Hilton and IHG (Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza etc) have sales running all week – full details are in this article.

BUT e-mail in my inbox offers ‘up to’ 😀 60% off plus 12% off coupon.

Tee hee! I just don’t trust anything (sorry, up to anything) from hotels.com.

Melia site not working for me – comes up with an error then goes to a different page to search and then hangs there forever.

  • Pangolin says:

I don’t see any Black Friday deals on SPG (I clicked through your link) but they do have a Cyber Monday offer. Unfortunately, this only seems to apply to The Americas.

  • Brian says:

Accor are running a four-day flash sale – I saw the Sofitel Heathrow for 118GBP including breakfast for some dates – not sure if that’s the lowest out there.

    • Walty says:

Tried to use points to book but not getting the option even though when you filter in the search “Use reward Points” and the hotel is returned in the search. Wonder if points bookings are removed until the sale is over??

  • Simon says:

This one’s great, thanks! That’s the wife’s birthday weekend sorted.

  • Cat says:

Hey, looking at the Antalya Crowne Plaza for Feb half term, as a GA. My reservation page still shows that “Your rate” under “Your world sale includes an extra person supplement of 20 euros per night. How do I make the double occupancy rate disappear?

  • Cat says:

Gutted that I missed this one – enjoy the Cairngorms!
