As a bit of a Star Wars geek I’m very excited about today’s competition in association with ANA. We have cunningly timed this to link in with the release of “The Last Jedi” this weekend!

One lucky winner will win three ANA Star Wars model planes. These are rare and not easily available for public sale outside Japan. They would make an ideal Christmas gift for any airline or science fiction fan.

About ANA

ANA (All Nippon Airways) is the largest airline in Japan and one of only ten 5-star airlines. It flies daily from London Heathrow Terminal 2 to Tokyo Haneda, Tokyo’s most central airport. This is more convenient than the British Airways base at Tokyo Narita (though BA does have one flight a day to Haneda, too). Long term Head for Points readers will remember that I reviewed ANA’s Business Class product here and here when I travelled down to Japan over Easter. It is a great option for the long flight to Tokyo.

ANA is a member of Star Alliance. This means that you can credit ANA flights to ANA’s own Mileage Club, Lufthansa Miles & More, United MileagePlus, Singapore Airlines Krisflyer or whichever other Star Alliance airline you prefer.

You can also credit ANA flights to Virgin Flying Club at an attractive rate. You can also redeem Virgin Flying Club miles for ANA flights as we wrote about in this article.

ANA and Star Wars

ANA has four different Star Wars jets – and unfortunately none of them are currently flying the London – Tokyo Haneda route. However, the R2-D2 ANA Jet can be found on the Narita – Dusseldorf and Haneda – Munich route if you don’t mind travelling via Germany.

More information about the planes and their flight routes can be found on this website.

Competition

ANA’s London team generously offered us three ANA Star Wars model planes for a competition. We are giving away all three aircraft as a set to one winner.

As always, all you have to do to enter this competition is fill out the Gleam widget at the bottom of this page with your name and email address. If you win, we will be in touch for your postal address so that ANA can send you the prize.

You are limited to one entry per person. Entry is limited to UK residents only.

You need to enter by midnight on Saturday 16th December.

The formal version of the rules is in the widget below if you click ‘Terms & Conditions’. Good luck.

Hay Rob, unfair…. I’m in Paris till Sunday and can not enter….???? Any way are this?

    • Worzel says:

Problem solved-I’ve just entered, they are not of interest to me, if I win you can have them.

    • roberto says:

      Get a VPN….
It amazes me that people dont have one on their mobiles.

      • Louise says:

        +1

Definitely if people are joining Unknown WiFi networks

        • Intentionally Blank says:

          ++1

To Louise’s point: If you really trust anything between you and the internets when joining “Free WiFi” then please consider a VPN provider. There are so many nasties out there

      • Lady London says:

which VPN’s do you guys use?
        – on mobiles / Android
        – for tv / netflix

        • Louise says:

On my mobile I use windscribe.
          Works well.
Got a free 50gb a month offer last year

        • Fenny says:

TunnelBear. I got a good deal for the paid version on Black Friday, but I used the free version before that.

    • Pr99 says:

      Use the force Mark.

    • Henry says:

Yeah – If you need a free VPN to literally only use for this competition: try ProtonVPN, TunnelBear or Mullvad. They all have free versions to try out for a limited time.

  • NYC123 says:

These are the planes you were looking for…. Move along

    • Lady London says:

OT Did anyone see the news about the tramp that found an unlocked door in Pars airport, looked behind it and walked off with 2 bags containing 300,000 Euros worth of cash?!

  • Frenske says:

OT but happy news. I just received 2000 Avios on my BA account saying special promotion. Possibly the Xmas promotion mentioned earlier this week. I’m surprised they give it prior to flying over Xmas period.

    • Stu N says:

Me too. “Special promotion – Christmas
Gift from BA”. Am flying next week, wonder if it’s universal or just for those with bookings?

      • AndyGWP says:

“wonder if it’s universal or just for those with bookings”

Can confirm it doesn’t appear to be universal. I’ve not got any flights booked, and haven’t received it 🙂

  • Catalan says:

BA flies daily to both Haneda and Narita rather than “some flights to Haneda”

  • JamesB says:

Liked all these model planes in in-flight magazines ever since I first started flying. Never ever got one though so maybe I’ll get lucky and win three. Over 600 entries already.

  • EBungle says:

Finally the big prize – I am sure a Business Class Ticket around the world is ok and everything … but Star Wars planes are out of this world!

  • Fraser says:

I saw the BB-8 plane at the gate next to me at Frankfurt last week! <3

  • Lee Warman says:

Im in Ireland so can’t enter either, although I am a UK resident
