Priority Pass launches airport shopping discounts

Not content with offering airport lounge access and free meals in airport restaurants, Priority Pass has launched a new offer – airport shopping discounts.

It is very simple.  When you search for an airport via the Priority Pass app or on their website, you will now be shown a list of shopping discounts as well as the lounges available.

There is nothing showing for any of the London airports yet.  If I search for Washington Dulles, on the other hand, deals include:

  • 10% off at Burberry
  • 10% off at Coach
  • 10% off at Duty Free Americas
  • 10% off at Michael Kors
  • 10% off at Montblanc  etc

It is a little fiddly to use.  You can’t show your Priority Pass card.  You need to to press ‘Generate the offer code’, which is a digital 2D barcode, and then show this at the till.

Hopefully some interesting UK offers will appear soon.  Remember that you get two free Priority Pass cards – each of which allows a free guest, so a family of four is covered – with American Express Platinum.
