How to get 1700 Avios with an Avis car rental

Links on Head for Points may pay us an affiliate commission. A list of partners is here.

Iberia has launched a special car rental deal with Avis.  This will get you 1,700 Avios on rentals up to 30th April, which in most cases is more generous than the ‘3 Avios per £1’ you get when booking Avis cars via BA Executive Club.

Here is the small print:

You must book by 31st March

You rental must end by 30th April

Rentals over Easter (14th April to 21st April) do not count

You must rent for at least 3 days

You must rent a Group C car or higher

You must book via iberia.com, rentacar-iberia.com/es, avis.es

Your rental must take place in the Spain mainland, Balearics and Canaries, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, Portugal, the Netherlands or United Kingdom

Not valid on Corporate AWD rentals, Prestige rentals, Chauffeur Drive or Van rentals

Full details are on the Iberia / Avis website here.  You still receive the free additional driver that BAEC offers when booking via Iberia.  You won’t get the 250 additional bonus points for paying with a British Airways American Express card however.

If you need a car over Easter or need a smaller Group A or B car or are renting for under 3 days, take a look at the Enterprise / Virgin deal we covered yesterday.
