Curve Card adds support for the Miles & More Mastercard

Curve Card has added support for the Lufthansa Miles & More Mastercard.

As we covered in depth in our launch articles on the Miles & More charge cards, the Mastercard element is actually a prepaid Mastercard.

This makes no difference in how you use it – except that you shouldn’t use it as a deposit at a hotel or car hire office as the deposit will immediately be taken as a charge – but it did impact Curve functionality.

Curve adds support for the Miles & More Mastercard

I added my Miles & More card over the weekend and have done a few dummy transactions including a cash withdrawal.  I will report back if any ‘cash advance’ fees are triggered.

The key benefits of linking the card to Curve are:

being able to spend abroad without incurring FX fees Mon-Fri (0.5% to 1.5% fee at weekends)

being able to pay HMRC without any fees and earn miles

If this works out with HMRC without surcharges then I can see myself using my entire £50,000 annual Curve allowance to settle my VAT and PAYE bills, picking up a handy 62,500 Miles & More miles in the process …..

Curve will pay you £10 for trying it out if you use our link.
