Accor (Novotel, Mercure, Ibis, Sofitel etc) has launched a new promotion offering TRIPLE base points on your next stay at its ‘luxury’ brands.
You need to register via this page of the Accor website. Once you’ve done that, you will earn triple base points on your next booking. This is a one-off deal so you may want to time your registration if you have both cheap and expensive stays planned.
Be careful with the exclusions here:
This promo is ONLY valid for hotels in the Fairmont, Swissôtel, Sofitel, MGallery, Pullman and Mantis chains
This promo is ONLY valid for hotels in UK, Belgium, the Netherlands or Luxembourg
In theory, this promo is only valid if you were emailed it directly by Accor. This may well not be the case, but be wary about making bookings purely to get this bonus – because you might not.
You can only earn the bonus once
Take careful note of the dates:
You MUST register before booking via the link you will find here
You book before 26th November
You stay before 2nd January
There is no minimum stay requirement
Triple points means that you are doing quite nicely from your stay. Accor’s luxury brands earn 2.5 Le Club AccorHotels points per €1 spent. This would increase to 7.5 points per €1 with this promotion – and that is before any status bonus you are also due.
1 Accor point is worth 2 Eurocents if redeemed for Accor hotel vouchers, so you are receiving 15 Eurocents back per €1 – a return of 15% on your spending. Our article on what we think Accor Live Limitless points are worth is here.
Alternatively, you can transfer your points to Avios in Iberia Plus at a rate of 1:1. This means that you would be earning 7.5 Avios per €1.
Do NOT transfer them to British Airways Executive Club as the rate is far worse at 2:1. They can be moved from Iberia to BAEC via ‘Combine My Avios’ which we explain here.
You can find out more details and register here.
PS. If you are reading this but are not a regular Head for Points visitor, please consider signing up for our FREE weekly or daily newsletters. They are full of the latest Avios, airline, hotel and credit card points news and deals to improve how you travel.
