Vueling, BA’s sister airline, has restarted flights from Cardiff to Spain.

The first flight to Alicante departed last Thursday.  The service will run twice per week from August but is currently ‘Thursday only’.

Flights to Malaga are due to resume on 1st August with Palma de Mallorca following on 3rd August.  Malaga will run on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday whilst Palma will operate on Monday and Thursday.

Vueling flights restart from Cardiff

Vueling flights can be booked with Avios.  There are two totally different ways of doing it:

redeem via Vueling Club on a revenue-based basis (eg the points price is the cash cost of the flight divided by a fixed value per Avios) or

redeem via Iberia Plus, using the standard Avios pricing chart which is based on distance

The former does not require reward seats to be available, unlike the latter.

Full details of how to redeem Avios points on Vueling flights can be found in this HfP article.

You can find out more, and book for cash, on the Vueling website here.

I have an offer for a 6 month free subscription to Disney + via O2 priority rewards then £5.99 per month once that ends.

    Ends today though.

    • Bill says:

I’d be grateful if someone could share the sign up code / details. I am not on O2

      • ChrisC says:

there is a one time code associated with your phone number and the O2 priorities app and you have to use your O2 phone number as part of the process

But there are other, open, offers offering a subscription with a shorter trial or reduced cost.

        • Sina says:

Just downloaded the O2 priority, and am on O2, but I guess this offer is targeted!

  • Lashious says:

Vueling flies there, due to depart on Tuesday am, actually departs Tuesday night. No recompense because they don’t respond to complaints. Fab airline if you don’t like getting to destination that day
