Marriott Manchester United official hotel partner

Today’s theme is ‘Wonders of Excitement’. Read to the bottom of the article to enter to win a one night stay in the Manchester United Suite at the Manchester Marriott Victoria & Albert hotel.

You MUST enter today, Thursday. The competition closes at midnight.

You can learn more about the hotel on its website here.

But first … see your name at a Manchester United game

As part of the partnership between Marriott Bonvoy and Manchester United, it is giving fans the opportunity to “appear” pitchside at Old Trafford during Premier League games.

This is a unique opportunity for your name, or the name of someone you think would be thrilled by this, to be displayed on the pitch side billboards at Old Trafford!

If this sounds like the sort of thing that someone you know would love, you can nominate yourself or someone else on this page of the Manchester United website. Nominations close on Friday, so be quick.

Marriott Bonvoy members will have an improved chance of being chosen.

The promotion is set to continue for the full 2020/21 season. The first winners names will appear during the Manchester United vs. Chelsea match on 24th October.

Very important to remember Man Utd Fans….six is the limit…Audere est Facere 🙂

  • Andrew says:

I stayed in the V&A regularly when it was a fairly new hotel and all the rooms were themed on a TV show recorded at the then Granada studios opposite.

The Mrs Merton room was most memorable for its tweeness with a picture of Malcolm by the bed and an old lady style spare toilet roll doll in the bathroom.

And the lifesize framed poster of Mrs Merton hugging Peter Stringfellow to wake up to in the morning…

  • Graham says:

Just nominated my mate who is Chelsea through and through, fingers crossed

    • LB says:

      😂

    • ankomonkey says:

I’ve just signed up my two good friends Jurgen Klopp and ‘City till I die’ for the name at Old Trafford offer.

      • Bonglim says:

My friend, Hugh Jazz – is a massive Man Utd Fan. He would love to visit Old Trafford for a match – but can’t fit in the seat. He can’t wait to see a Hugh Jazz on the sidelines at Old Trafford soon.

  • IO says:

I have a £75 off a £200 spend this morning on my AMEX. Not sure if anyone else has?

  • Vit says:

Like the question today, Rhys. Was there with my partner during a home-win under Jose back in 2017. Hoping for a return! 🙂

    • Rhys says:

Sorry to destroy the illusion but I don’t make the questions – I know virtually nothing about football!

      • Rob says:

For Rhys it would actually be a question he would need to look up.

For the Sheraton Park Lane competition the other day, I was quite keen to have the question as ‘What road is Sheraton Park Lane on?’ with the options being Piccadilly, Park Lane or Bond Street. Just to see how many seleccted Park Lane and got it wrong 🙂

        • Mawalt says:

That would have been cruel and unusual punishment!

        • jc says:

People here should be used to misleading names with the quantity of “London” airports (including my personal favourite London Prestwick in 2006)

  • Doug M says:

    🙂

  • Alex M says:

Perfect timing to promote visiting Manchester. Noooot.

  • Andrew Mc says:

Why does Gleam say 31 days left to enter competition?
