I’m pleased to say that we have been shortlisted in five categories at the 2020 Business Travel Journalism Awards.
Each member of the team has received at least one nomination:
Best Newcomer – Rhys
Editor of the Year – Rob
Editorial Team of the Year – Rhys, Sinead, Anika, Rob
Features Journalist of the Year (Air) – Rob
Scoop of the Year – Rob
Despite a tumultuous year we have nonetheless managed to break some big news stories, including the retirement of the 747 from BA’s fleet, coverage of the BA crew pay negotiations and the only way to get an online refund when BA removed the option online. We were also the first to get a photo of BA’s new First Suite.
We also, of course, launched our brand new site design.
Sadly the awards dinner has been replaced by a virtual event next Tuesday where the winners will be announced.
Last year Rhys was ‘Highly Commended’ in the ‘Best Newcomer’ category but we are hoping to go one further this year.
