Virgin Holidays is offering an extra £100 off ‘flight and hotel’ packages this weekend.

For bookings made by 16th March, for travel by 30th September, you can save £100 with code SAVE100.

There are minimum spend requirements – this starts at £2,500 for two passengers rising to £3,280 for four passengers and capping out at £5,220 for nine passengers.

The small print says that it cannot be combined with part-payment using Virgin Points. We explained in this article how to use Virgin Points to pay or part-pay for a Virgin Holiday.

Read Rhys in The Sunday Times today

With fatherly-style pride, I’m pleased to say that Rhys has written an article for The Sunday Times today.

You can read it here on the website (paywall). If you pick up a print version, it takes up two pages in the travel section.

Regular readers will know that Rhys is hugely knowledgeable about aviation, and this article – and potentially some more which are being discussed – lets him write about topics which wouldn’t fit easily into HfP.

    Congratulations Rhys.

    (G)Rhys is the word!

  • Jimbob says:

How late can you make changes with Virgin Holiday’s “You’re in safe hands” policy?
Can’t see anything on the website, at least with BA is made obvious that it’s 3 weeks before travel.

It seems that Rhys’s article IS in the print version of The Sunday Times, which was not the original plan so they must have liked it. It takes up two pages of the half-sized Travel supplement if you see a copy whilst you are out and about today.

And if you have Amex Plat Business you get a free subscription to the Times and Sunday Times 😉

How to access a non-firewalled version? Rhys’s article started out so well….

I bet all Rhys’s colleagues off his uni course are impressed….

Thanks for that John, the lad writes well, I enjoyed that

  • TM says:

Fantastic article. Really strong writing- I loved it despite it not being one of my areas of interest. Top stuff. The “antelope carcass” a particular highlight.

Nothing better than well written words.
