British Airways offers a variety of ways of earning Avios. In this article we’ll look at how you can earn Avios by buying wine.
In 2017 British Airways relaunched its partnership with Laithwaites, the wine delivery and subscription company, to offer Avios on wine purchases. According to the British Airways website, you can:
Collect 1,000 Avios with your first order and 250 Avios for every 12 bottle case after that.
The new partnership is called Wine Explorer and has a dedicated website.
Wine Explorer also regularly offers new customers an introductory offer, further reducing the cost of a case of wine to as low as the £50-£60 mark for 12 bottles. Throw in 1,000 Avios too and you’ve got an attractive package, at least for your first order.
