British Airways is once again rostering a number of long haul aircraft on short haul routes this summer, which means you can experience a ‘proper’ business class seat for Club Europe pricing.

You can now book American Express Platinum VIP events via a special app. Events include a Moet & Chandon party at Home House and a Cocktail Party at the new NoMad London.

British Airways has extended eVoucher and Future Travel Vouchers until September 2023, which represents a five month extension from the previous expiry date.

No formal announcement has been made regarding further extensions to Amex 2-4-1 companion vouchers, but you CAN extend your 2-4-1 voucher to September 2023 via a trick. Here’s how.

Other interesting bits:

You can save up to 50% on airport lounge membership with the deepest discounts Priority Pass has ever offered. You can pay as little as £12.20 per lounge visit.

Good news if you prefer to use your points for things other than travel: both Accor and Virgin Red have opened up good value experience redemptions. If you live near Manchester, the Virgin Red redemptions are especially interesting. The Accor package is a good one if you fancy a luxury weekend in London for 15,000 points.

You can get up to 13,750 Avios when you take out a Sainsbury’s life insurance policy. We also looked at the other sorts of insurance that Sainsbury’s Bank offers and how it can earn you bonus Nectar points (= Avios).

Hilton Honors Experiences had VIP cricket and golf hospitality packages this week which were quickly snapped up by HfP readers.

Last week saw the supplementary bonus offer on Amex Gold and BA Amex cards come to an end. You could have earned 6,000 Avios by adding a free supplementary card.
