British Airways BA Amex Premium Plus American Express

DEAL OF THE WEEK #1 – Get a huge 40,000 Avios with the British Airways American Express Premium Plus card

The British Airways Premium Plus American Express card relaunched this week. For a limited time, the bonus is doubled to 40,000 Avios.

Whilst the annual fee is £250, this is refundable pro-rata if you cancel once you’ve banked the bonus.

DEAL OF THE WEEK #2 – Got any sort of small business? Get a 60,000 Avios with the British Airways Accelerating Business card

The British Airways Accelerating Business credit card also relaunched this week. The sign-up bonus has switched from On Business points to Avios, and for a limited time the bonus is a slightly crazy 60,000 Avios.

Whilst the annual fee is £250, this is refundable pro-rata if you cancel once you’ve banked the bonus.

It is easy to qualify for this bonus. As long as you have some sort of small business income and have not had an American Express Business card in the past 12 months, you qualify for the 60,000 Avios.

We got an exclusive first look at the new private dining option available on Virgin’s new A350s. Called The Booth, the new dedicated space will be available from December and looks very snazzy. A picture is above.

Big changes to the British Airways American Express cards rolled out this week, including to the all-important companion vouchers. You can also get an increased sign-up bonus of 40,000 Avios on the Premium Plus (or 10,000 Avios on the free card) until November.

Amex has re-launched the BA Accelerating Business card and pimped it up with a huge new 60,000 Avios sign-up bonus. The card is well worth considering if you have an SME or are a sole trader (no VAT registration needed to join On Business via this route).
