British Airways launches flights to The Azores

British Airways has announced a handful – and it is only a handful – of flights to The Azores for Summer 2022.

The airline will be flying to the islands of São Miguel and Terceira.

Flights will operate once per week, with São Miguel launching on Saturday 2nd July and Terceira launching on Sunday 10th July. Services will end after the school holidays.

Flights are currently scheduled to operate from Heathrow Terminal 5.

Part of Portugal, The Azores archipelago is made up of nine islands. The laurel forests of Terceira are a UNESCO World Heritage site whilst São Miguel has ‘the Lake of Seven Cities’.
