Hyatt takes two more London hotels from IHG

    Checking some weekend dates in October 2022, the ‘jansale’ rate is only £1 to £2 less per night than the normal rate on Radisson’s own website. Breakfast included and non-refundable in all cases.

  City CP (Which I will sorely miss and was amazing for the three NYEs on the trot we spent there), HI & SBS Stratford were all also managed by IHG were they not?

  Is it possibly IHG looking to get out of the directly managing properties that may be causing the brand changes? Although common sense would suggest the owners look towards a management company who already manage IHG premises I suppose.

  We have a huge support office at Stratford and I’ve lost count of how many nights I’ve spent in those two properties over the years. Will be interesting to see if the Corp code rolls over. I may have to start taking a closer look at Hyatt

    Pretty sure both Stratford properties are Cycas Hospitality (Dutch hotel development / management company) built and managed. They did a lot of the UK’s first “extended stay” concepts and were predominantly IHG back then, but there was a big fanfare about a Hyatt in France (?) recently and I think they also did the London Hyatt Place.

    Info should be easily available for anyone interested in such things!

      You’re correct. Cycas was also involved in the two Manchester hotels which switched.
