What is Bicester Village?

If you’ve never been, Bicester Village is a shopping village with over 160 boutiques located in the heart of Oxfordshire. It is home to leading brands including Boss Hugo Boss, Cosmetics Company Store, Mulberry, Ted Baker and many more.

The Village is easily accessible by car via the M40 and offers ample free parking. It also has its own train station, Bicester Village Station, which is a direct trip from London Marylebone and takes just 46 minutes. Alternatively, Oxford is just a 14 minute train journey away.

Coming from Birmingham you can take the train to Bicester North where you will find a complimentary shuttle service to Bicester Village.

How do I take part in the Private Sale?

Register for Bicester Village membership here for free to receive your Private Sale code. You will need to show this at the till in participating boutiques when paying.

If you already are a member, you will receive the QR code via email and you can also find it when you log in to your account.

You can shop in the Private Sale virtually

If you can’t make it to Bicester Village during the Private Sale, you can still enjoy the same savings when shopping virtually. Head to this page to find out more about shopping at Bicester Village virtually.

You’ll need to let the boutique adviser know you’d like to redeem your Private Sale offer, then send them a screenshot of your membership QR code to apply your saving.

Earning Avios at Bicester Village

British Airways Executive Club members can earn Avios all year round when shopping at Bicester Village. The earning rate at Bicester Village is 5 Avios per £4 spent. This includes food and drink spending on site.

You do not need to claim your miles in each individual store you visit.  Instead, simply hold on to your receipts until the end of your shopping trip.

Once you’re done shopping for the day, go to the Village Welcome or Tourist Information Centre and present your Executive Club card, or proof of membership, plus shopping receipts to collect your Avios.

Alternatively, you can use the new e-redemption service. You can email a copy of your receipts to Bicester Village and they will ensure that your Avios are credited to your account. You can find out more on their website here.

    Re the crowds. Pre pandemic, it was the second most popular attraction in the uk outside of London for Chinese visitors apparently. Only Windsor was ahead of it. 50 coach loads a day was seen as par for the course.
    For the last 16 years I’ve lived 20 mins away. I have been twice and indeed agree with the hell on earth analogy.
