UPDATE: This offer has gone from the Virgin Red app so may be sold out. We will let you know if more cabins are released.

Virgin Red has launched another very generous offer for anyone with some spare time between now and October.

You can get a 7 night cruise on ‘Valiant Lady’, the 2nd ship in the Virgin Voyages fleet, for just 95,000 Virgin Points for two people.

The cruise is full board. All your meals, soft drinks, fitness classes, entertainment etc are included.

Unlike the offer which ran in May, these cruises are for peak season and there are a choice of dates. You are also starting somewhere warm (eg Barcelona) instead of Portsmouth.

Here is what the Virgin Red site has to say:

Ahoy there! This is a limited-time special offer, and there is only a limited number of cabins available. Choose ANY 7-night sailing from Barcelona on Virgin Voyages’ Valiant Lady between now and 16/10/2022 – just as long as you complete your booking by 19/06/2022.

Not only does this offer present jaw-dropping value – you also get to pick your preferred route and sail dates! Our cousins over at Virgin Voyages have curated three itineraries featuring some of the most idyllic islands and effervescent cities in Europe. All journeys begin and end in Barcelona, with an overnight finale in Ibiza.

It gets even better… When it comes to additional costs, Virgin Voyages has you covered – all food, soft drinks, tips, group fitness classes, entertainment and Wi-Fi are always included.

With menus crafted by Michelin-starred chefs, the responsibly sourced food makes it easy to strike a balance. From their first-to-sea Korean BBQ and elegant steakhouse to the 24/7 diner perfect for satiating those late-night cravings, Virgin Voyages take food, and the experience around it, seriously.

This is your holiday and they’ve made it a point to ensure that you get a healthy dose of Vitamin Sea… This means there are no kids on board. From workout classes and gym facilities to luxe spa treatments, the adults-only voyage gives you plenty of chances to relax, rejuvenate, and restore. And if you want to sit back and do nothing, fresh-pressed juices served poolside will make “nothing” feel like everything.

And when you’re done with whatever self-care looks like for you, the one-of-a-kind, I’ve-definitely-never-seen-anything-like this-before entertainment awaits your arrival. Between modern, larger-than-life retellings of Romeo and Juliet (with a circus twist) and immersive pop-up acts that happen organically throughout the voyage, you’ll see the ship brought to life in new and unexpected ways.

As for digs, you’ll be kicking back in The Sea Terrace (or Limited View Sea Terrace, depending on availability). Designed to give sweeping views of the horizon from the front and back zones of the ship, these cabins boast a configurable bed and high-tech mood lighting, allowing you to transform the space and create your own vibe. To top it all off, the hammock on the terrace is perfect for a little ‘me’ time, while the 24-hour food delivery service is on hand to thwart any pesky 2am cravings.

Word of advice: don’t pay for any flights or transfers until your place on board is confirmed by Virgin Voyages! Spaces are filling up quickly, so pick your jaw off the floor and make a splash by booking your spot today. Hurry, these cabins will be gone faster than you can say “cannonball”.

You can book via the Virgin Red app or online.

  • Howard says:

I booked but for some reason it had me on a hold booking……I could not make the booking so I called the help line and they said they have my booking but have had no email confirmation…..has anyone else had an immediate email confirmation of the booking?

We are happy as we have the exact date and cruise we wanted…..Rob – Thank you for the alert.

    • Howard says:

Ok, Email confirmation came through…….No email on on upgrade.

    • stevenhp1987 says:

The final booking page for me had no way of continuing. Just an option to hold or pay… But hitting pay did nothing.

      No order confirmation on screen.

Tried booking again and it said my code was invalid.

Checked my account and the booking was there. Confirmation email followed shortly thereafter.

      • Howard says:

same as me…..how can we try for an upgrade?

        • Rob says:

Someone yesterday said that they turn up nearer to departure date, which makes sense – they aren’t going to do you a deal until they know they can’t sell the top cabins.

          • stevenhp1987 says:

I’ve already received an email inviting me to bid for an upgrade for my July cruise booked from this.

Needless to say the cost is off putting. I’ll stick with the sea view terrace thanks!

          • Jimmy says:

Are you able to upgrade later with points?

          • Rob says:

            No, cash only

          • Jimmy says:

            Thanks 🙂

  • Ant says:

Should I worry that I haven’t received my code? I applied yesterday at 5am.

    • Travel Strong says:

I missed the email at first as it came from ‘Reward Genies’ instead of Virgin Voyages, so watch out for that!

  • Chris says:

Honestly I am refreshing the Virgin Red website on a 2-hour basis, really upset I missed this one!

  • pbcold says:

Is anyone else struggling to add a payment card to their app for this trip?

  • Mark H says:

if these come up again can I book for my parents using my points? or Do I need to travel also?

  • Sam1 says:

It’s showing back available again. Also 2 Caribbean options this time as well, 4 nights for 115k and 5 nights for 125k points.

    • Rhys says:

      Yep, just had press release…

    • JohnG says:

Thanks Sam. I also spotted this and posted it to the daily thread so hopefully some of the people who missed out the first time can get in.

  • DanB says:

How long did your points take to transfer over? Conscious could be gone before they do

    • Rob says:

Amex transfers should be instant if your accounts are already linked, otherwise an hour or so.
