Save £200 at selected Four Seasons hotels with American Express

Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission.  See here for all partner links.

For only the second time, as far as I know, the ultra-luxurious Four Seasons hotel chain has launched a cashback offer with American Express.

You need to look under the ‘Offers’ tab on the statement page of the Amex website, or in the Amex app, for each American Express card you hold. If the offer is there, you need to click ‘Save to Card’ to activate it.

You will receive £200 cashback when you spend £1,000 at selected Four Seasons hotels.

The participating hotels are:

UK:

  • Four Seasons Hotel London At Park Lane
  • Four Seasons Hotel London At Ten Trinity Square
  • Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire

France:

  • Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris
  • Grand-Hôtel Du Cap-Ferrat
  • Four Seasons Hotel Megeve

Italy:

  • Four Seasons Hotel Milan
  • Four Seasons Hotel Firenze
  • San Domenico Palace, Taormina, A Four Seasons Hotel

Spain:

  • Four Seasons Hotel Madrid

Switzerland:

  • Four Seasons Hotel Des Bergues Geneva

The offer runs to 27th January.

If you are based in or around London, you probably know that Four Seasons Hampshire is – by a large margin – the best upmarket weekend break option for a family.

We have been visiting since before we had children, so for 16-17 years now, and have probably done around 75 nights over the years. The recent addition of a kids pool made it even better for young children and has relieved some of the pressure on the main pool.

If you are booking a Four Seasons hotel to take advantage of this deal, you should book via our luxury hotel booking partner Emyr Thomas at Bon Vivant.

As a Four Seasons Preferred Partner, your booking will usually come with:

  • free breakfast (this is a big saving at Four Seasons)
  • room upgrade if available at check-in
  • a hotel credit (usually $100 or equivalent, may be restricted to certain services)

….. and some other bits and pieces depending on property.

Importantly, Emyr can usually get these benefits on ANY rate showing on the Four Seasons website, so you are virtually certain to get a better deal by using him. You pay on departure as usual so there is no issue getting the cashback.

You can contact Emyr via the form on this page of HfP.

What? Aer Lingus operating new routes from BHD, but what about Brexit?

    Stroke of luck!
Checking out of ten trinity this afternoon (booked via emyr ofcourse) and if by magic this offer pops into my card offers – that’ll do nicely

  • Stuart says:

Not linked to above but a bits. From a previous article, just an update. The branding for Delta by Marriott is now prominently displayed on the building of the Metrocentre / Gateshead hotel

    • Stu N says:

The Edinburgh (ex) Marriott at Maybury has also been rebranded.

    • TGLoyalty says:

Lots have switched / are switching in November

    • Mikeact says:

That Metro Marriott…..is that the place that had the theme rooms upstairs ? If it is, they always put me in one of them because of the card I was carrying…got sick of them in the end and just asked to be put in a regular room.

    Relatively related question.

How easy is it to transfer Avios between Aer Lingus to BA/IB? I might be able to get 50k Avios in an Aer Lingus account but have no real use for them if they’re stuck there as I have BA status. It looks like Avios.com have closed their travel programme?

A workaround I sometimes use is booking Avios flights from IB with my BA FF number on it.

    • Rob says:

Takes 2 minutes as long as ALL the personal details on your BA and Lingus accounts match. Log in at avios.com and go to ‘Combine My Avios’.

  • JD says:

Purely from my recent experience (at least in-store), good luck collecting Avios on Hackett purchases. Last 2 in-store purchases have not registered despite providing 65B details at PoS. When following up their CS operatives don’t have any idea what I’m on about!
