IHG One Rewards has cut the price of its tickets for upcoming EPCR Challenge Cup and Heineken Champions Cup rugby games.

These can be found on the IHG Access platform. The UK games are in Belfast, Newcastle, Glasgow and Leicester.

They are now priced at 10,000 IHG One Rewards points or, erm, 11 IHG One Rewards points for two tickets.

Redeem IHG One Rewards points for European rugby tickets

This is what is available at the time of publication (11.15am). The price is 10,000 points for two tickets unless stated.

EDIT: I updated availability as at 9.30pm on Tuesday. HfP readers had already been active!

EPCR Challenge Cup:

  • Racing 92 vs. Leinster Rugby at Stade Océane, Le Havre – Saturday 10th December (11 points!)
  • ASM Clermont Auvergne vs. DHL Stormers at Stade Marcel-Michelin, Clermont – Saturday 10th December (11 points!)
  • Glasgow Warriors vs. USAP at Scotstoun Stadium, Glasgow – Friday 16th December
  • Newcastle Falcons vs. Cardiff Rugby at Kingston Park, Newcastle – Saturday 17th December

Heineken Champions Cup:

  • Munster Rugby vs. Stade Toulousain at Thomond Park, Limerick – Sunday 11th December (11 points!)
  • Leicester Tigers vs. ASM Clermont Auvergne at Mattioli Woods Welford Road, Leicester – Saturday 17th December
  • Lyon vs. Saracens at Matmut Stadium de Gerland, Lyon – Saturday 17th December
  • Ulster Rugby vs. Stade Rochelais at Kingspan Stadium, Belfast – Saturday 17th December
  • Stade Toulousain vs. Sale Sharks at Stade Ernest Wallon, Toulouse – Sunday 18th December

Remember that these are not auctions, they are ‘buy it now’ deals. There is no hospitality element – you are simply using 10,000 or 11 IHG One Rewards points for two tickets.

I would value 10,000 IHG One Rewards points at £40. This means that I value 11 points at 5p! These are all ‘Category 1’ tickets.

Log into the IHG Access reward platform here to redeem for any of these events.

PS. Tickets for Round 3 of both tournaments will soon be available for redemption at 15,000 IHG One Rewards points per pair.

  • Seagull says:

Amazing deal! All UK 11 point redemptions now sold out. Still some 11 pts in France a few 10,000 pts ones in the UK left.

  • J says:

I assume a redemption here counts as a valid activity for keeping points alive?

    • Alex W says:

Don’t be that guy. Leave the amazing deal to someone who actually wants to attend the rugby. There are plenty of ways to keep you points alive without taking a redemption away from someone that wants it.

      • Economist_Nearby says:

If they really want to attend they will pay for it. Ignore the lecture.

    • Super Secret Stuff says:

      Yes

  • Annoyed says:

Why do you not email the articles out at the published time (and date) ???

    • Rob says:

Readers tell us they like getting them first thing. If you want to be on top of things, visit the site during the day.

  • RJ-24 says:

Clearly no Gloucester fans at IHG 🙂
